Frequently asked questions
How does Pagadera checkout work in my webshop?
Your shop asks Pagadera for a payment and sends the shopper to the page we host. They pay from their Pagadera account -- in the browser, in the app, or with a code -- or by bank transfer quoting the payment's reference. The money is credited to your Pagadera account as soon as it is confirmed, and you withdraw it to your bank as you choose. Your shop is told the payment is paid; nothing the shopper paid with passes through it.
Do I need to store card data?
No, and there is none to store: this checkout has no card payments in it at all. A shopper pays from their Pagadera account or by bank transfer, and does it with us rather than with you, so your shop never holds anything they paid with.
Is it safe for my customers?
A shopper authorises the payment with Pagadera, not with your shop: in the app it is their own phone that asks them to confirm, and the amount they agree to is the one we hold, not one the link carried. Your shop is never given what they paid with, and neither of you can change a payment they have agreed to.
How hard is it to integrate?
On WooCommerce, PrestaShop or Magento it is a plugin, a key and a test payment. On anything else it is three calls: raise a payment, send the shopper to the address we return, and read the payment back when they come back. Each way has its own setup guide, and our team helps you through it.
